SHRI D.P. PATEL
Deputy Commissioner
It confers us an immense pleasure and infinite ecstasy to avail of this privilege to present the new comprehensive website of K.V. Sangathan, Ranchi Region. It is a compendium that mirrors multifarious activities going on in the temple of learning throughout the year for the harmonious and all round personality development of the future citizens , as well as their accomplishment in the different fields. We are proud to be part of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan which is one of the premier organizations imparting quality education. I am proud of its significant growth and recognition of its contribution. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, since its inception, has been functioning with this perspective as its guiding principle for imparting a wholesome education to the child and has made its mark as one of the leading brands in school education. The K.V. teachers who are assigned this task have been adequately oriented about the broader purpose of pedagogy. Education is the backbone of a nation. Proper education can contribute to the creation of healthy minds and worthy citizens. If we want to survive and progress in this new world order, we have to enrich ourselves with adequate knowledge and skills. In India, we face a major challenge of preparing young minds for facing the challenges of the 21st Century and the best way to tide over this obstacle is by providing quality education to all. Human Resource Development for nation building can be achieved only through Public Instruction and Proper Education. I consider myself privileged to have such meritorious and outstanding team at KVS RO Ranchi and I wish to take this opportunity to appeal to all the employees of KVS Ranchi Region to work together in harmony for the betterment of our students. SHRI PRAVIN KUMAR MATHUR
Principal
Welcome to Kendriya Vidyalaya, Maithon. The aim of the school is to provide unmatched qualitative education par excellence: to develop the best that is latent in children and to encourage the child to explore and revel in the joy of learning. The endeavour is to retain smiles on the faces of the children, channelise the energies of youthfulness while sensing the beautiful connectivity between the heart, character, nation and the world. The mind and the spirit of the child has to be awakened to look for, search and learn whatever is new to him. The curricula is linked from the pre-primary level and is closely monitored providing the best opportunity for students to develop academic skills and gradually expand knowledge. Educational technology has permeated all areas of life. Our endeavour is to integrate technology and its range of application 'throughout the classroom' in an attempt to improve the quality of learning instruction. Modern teaching strategies, provision of student enrichment unit, recognition of various student learning styles and culture of academic support create a special learning community at our School. Globalization and increasing diversity in man's needs has generated an enhanced demand for competitive skills, and here at our School, our purpose is to provide the forum where such needs shall be fulfilled. Our focus is to train children to become autonomous learners. Our earnest effort is to provide students with an education that allows them to recognize and realize their 'dreams' and skills and to be able to ignite the passion to excel. Students will be given an environment wherein their attributes and strengths can be given a fillip, their creativity developed and spontaneity nurtured. They develop into adults endowed with analytical and logical thinking, a mind that is curious and inquisitive and a sensitivity that makes them humane in thought, word and deed. Discipline must be followed in students' life because you are in learning stage. Let us follow discipline strictly. In our Vidyalaya it would be viewed seriously if someone breaches this line of conduct. To achieve 100% in our Board Results as well as School Results we have to work hard. As all of us know that "Hard-work Pays......." To achieve qualitative as well as quantitative result we all have to co-operate with each other to add many feathers in this Kendriya Vidyalaya. Hope! everybody would do at least some work for the Vidyalaya keeping in mind the central goal of achieving new heights. Determination and punctuality should be shown in your life.
